Concordia 41 - 24 Trinity

On Saturday, the Concordia University Cardinals defeated the Trinity International University Trojans 41-24.

     On Saturday, the Concordia University Cardinals defeated the Trinity International University Trojans 41-24. It was homecoming, and Cardinal Stadium was packed.  Cardinals QB Seth Suida completed 16 of 23 passes for 313 yards, and WR Roderick Dailey caught 10 passes for 240 yards.  Dailey scored 5 touchdowns while accumulating 315 all-purpose yards.
     Concordia University, and Trinity International University both compete in the MSFA (Mid-States Football Association), and both schools are NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs.  Click on the links below for more information about the MSFA, or the NAIA.
     The Concordia University Cardinals currently have an overall record of 3-1.  The Cardinals finished the 2015-2016 season with an overall record of 5-6.  Click on the link below for more information about the Concordia University athletic program.

Muskegon 6 - 3 USA

On Friday, September 9th, the Muskegon Lumberjacks defeated the USA NTDP Under 17 team 6-3.  

     On Friday, September 9th, the Muskegon Lumberjacks defeated the USA NTDP (National Team Development Program) Under 17 Team 6-3.  The Lumberjacks outshot Team USA 37-24.  Both teams compete in the USHL (United States Hockey League), and the preseason game was played at the USA Hockey Arena located at 14900 Beck Road, in Plymouth.  Click on the link below for more information about the USHL, the USA NTDP, the Muskegon Lumberjacks, or the USA Hockey Arena.

NJICLE Kickoff Classic

I am honored to be speaking at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education's upcoming "Kickoff Classic" on September 24. The classic will focus on sports law controversies and CLE credit will be available. This link has the key details and information on signing up, and I hope you do.

Flat Rock Speedway 9/3/2016

     It was an action packed night at Flat Rock Speedway last Saturday, and the place was filled with fans. Kyle Worley, and the #15 car won the 25 Lap Street Stock A Main Feature.  James Pankow, and the #5 car won the 15 Lap Street Stock B Main Feature.  Dennis Whisman Sr. and the #1 car won the 20 Lap Figure 8 Feature.
     The night also featured a pair of Flag Pole Races, a Boat Figure 8 Race, and a School Bus Figure 8 Race. Bill Carberry, and the #48 car won the Stock Car Flag Pole Race.  Bill Early, and the #09 car won the Figure 8's Flag Pole Race.  AJ Padgett, and the #11 car won the Boat Figure 8 Race.  Pete Shrake, and the Budget Tire Bus won the School Bus Figure 8 Race.  Click on the link below for more information about Flat Rock Speedway.

Pete Shrake, and the Budget Tire Bus won the School Bus Figure 8 Race.

It was an action packed night at Flat Rock Speedway.  

There were two Flag Pole Races.  One for the Stock Cars, and one for the Figure 8's. 

Bill Carberry, and the #48 car won the Stock Car Flag Pole Race.  

James Pankow, and the #5 car won the 15 Lap Street Stock B Main Feature.

Flat Rock Speedway was packed with racing fans.
