College Hoops





On Friday, December 23rd, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Adrian College Bulldogs 64-62.











     On Friday, December 23rd, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Adrian College Bulldogs 64-62.  #20 Jason Penn lead the Wolverines with 19 points, and 15 rebounds, and #10 Marcus Williams added 18 points, and 6 rebounds.  The Bulldogs had a chance at a game winning shot from half court, but the attempt came up short.  Adrian College competes in Division III of the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association).  The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines compete in Division II of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics).  Click on the links below for more information about the NCAA, or the NAIA.

Junior Varsity College Hoops






On Tuesday, the University of Michigan Dearborn Junior Varsity men's basketball team earned a 75-63 victory. 











     On Tuesday, December 6th, the University of Michigan Dearborn Junior Varsity men's basketball team defeated the Olivet College Junior Varsity men's basketball team 75-63.  The Olivet College Varsity men's basketball team competes in Division III of the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association).  The University of Michigan Dearborn Varsity men's basketball team competes in Division II of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics).  Click on the links below for more information about the NCAA, or the NAIA.

UofM-D 66-62 Indiana Tech





On Tuesday night, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Indiana Tech Warriors 66-62.











     On Tuesday night, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines men's basketball team defeated the Indiana Tech Warriors 66-62.  The game was played at the University of Michigan Dearborn Fieldhouse.  The Indiana Tech Warriors lead the Wolverines 42-32 at halftime, but the Wolverines rallied in the second half to earn the hard fought victory.  #10 Marcus Williams lead the Wolverines in scoring with 18 points.
     The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines, and Indiana Tech Warriors both compete in Division II of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), and both schools play in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).  Click on the links below for more information about the NAIA, or the WHAC.

UofM-D vs. WMU





On Saturday, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Western Michigan University Stallions 4-2.











     Last Saturday, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Western Michigan University Stallions 4-2.  The Wolverines also defeated the Stallions 7-2 on Friday night.  Both schools compete in Division I of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), and both teams play in the GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League).  Scroll down to check out exclusive photos from Saturday night's game. Cornerstone 3-0 UofM-D





On Saturday, the Cornerstone University Golden Eagles defeated the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines 3-0.











     On Saturday, the Cornerstone University Golden Eagles defeated the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines 3-0 in a college soccer showdown at Edsel Ford High School, in Dearborn.  The Golden Eagles scored all three goals in the first 16 minutes of the contest.  It was the final game of the regular season for both teams, and it was also Senior Day for the Wolverines.  Both schools are NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) programs, and both teams compete in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference).  Click on the links below for more information about the NAIA, or the WHAC.

UofM-D vs. Illinois





Last weekend, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the University of Illinois Fighting Illini twice. 










     On Friday, October 21st, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the University of Illinois Fighting Illini 6-4.  The Wolverines also defeated the Fighting Illini 4-1 on Saturday, October 22nd.  Both teams compete in Division 1 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association), but the schools are placed in separate Conferences.  Scroll down to see exclusive photos from Friday night's game.  Click on the link below for more information about the ACHA.

UofM-D vs. Niagra





The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines earned two victories against the Niagra University Purple Eagles.

-  Friday night's game was the opening game of the 2016-2017 season for the Wolverines.



-   The Wolverines finished the 2015-2016 season with an overall record of 22-9.

-  The American Collegiate Hockey Association is still referred to as club hockey.

UofM-D 2 -1 Adrian





On Saturday night, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Adrian College Bulldogs 2-1. 











     On Saturday night, the University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines defeated the Adrian College Bulldogs 2-1.  It was a GLCHL (Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League) Tournament semifinal.  Both teams compete in Division 1 of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association)  The Wolverines went on to defeat Davenport University 3-2 (in overtime) in the GLCHL Tournament Championship snapping the Panthers 22 game winning streak.  Click on the links below for more information about the ACHA, or the GLCHL.
     The University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines have qualified for the 2016 ACHA National Tournament. The 2016 ACHA National Tournament kicks off on March 3rd at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensonville, Illinois. The Wolverines and Bulldogs battled for a spot in the 2016 GLCHL Tournament Championship. 





The 2016 GLCHL Playoffs were held at the University of Michigan Dearborn Ice Arena. 




#56 Austyn Roudebush is playing in his Sophomore season for the Bulldogs.  




#26 Erik Alden is a Defenseman playing in his Junior season with the Bulldogs.
